It has been a painful ordeal for Moriel and for myself (Jacob Prasch) personally to have, without warning, been publicly slandered and defamed on YouTube and elsewhere on the Internet by Paul Wilkinson as "not loving Jesus Christ", as "teaching heresy", and even as having gone into some brand of replacement theology simply because I and others do not agree with his particular view of the timing of the rapture.

This is frankly more circumlocution.
The issue here is hermeneutics. A text, out of context, in isolation from co-text is always a pre-text.

In an age of where the number of Bible translations is at an all time high, and access to the Bible is at a place where it never was before, in a strange kind of paradox, biblical ignorance is at a peak never attained since the Dark Ages. We all know a quick look at the Gospels would have saved these silly people from being taken on a "Camping trip" by Harold. The stupidity of this whole episode simply beggars belief. This guy Camping must so be puffed up with pride with a sense of his own self-importance as to be completely delusional.

The following is excerpted from "Jews Reluctantly Abandon Swedish City," Haaretz.com, July 11, 2010: "At some point, the shouts of "˜Heil Hitler' that often greeted Marcus Eilenberg as he walked to the 107-year-old Moorish-style synagogue in this port city forced the 32-year-old attorney to make a difficult, life-changing decision: Fearing for his family's safety after repeated anti-Semitic incidents, Eilenberg reluctantly uprooted himself and his wife and two children, and moved to Israel in May. Sweden, a country long regarded as a model of tolerance, has, ironically, been a refuge for Eilenberg's family. His paternal grandparents found a home in Malmo in 1945 after surviving the Holocaust. His wife's parents came to Malmo from Poland in 1968 after the communist government there launched an anti-Semitic purge. But as in many other cities across Europe, a rapidly growing Muslim population living in segregated conditions that seem to breed alienation has mixed toxically with the anger directed at Israeli policies and actions by those Muslims--and by many non-Muslims--to all but transform the lives of local Jews. Like many of their counterparts in other European cities, the Jews of Malmo report being subjected increasingly to threats, intimidation and actual violence as stand-ins for Israel. ... A continent-wide study, conducted by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence at the University of Bielefeld in Germany, released in December 2009, found that ... 37.4% agreed with this statement: "˜Considering Israel's policy, I can understand why people do not like Jews.' ... 86-year-old Judith Popinski says she is no longer invited to schools that have a large Muslim presence to tell her story of surviving the Holocaust. Popinski found refuge in Malmo in 1945. Until recently, she told her story in Malmo schools as part of their Holocaust studies program. Now, some schools no longer ask Holocaust survivors to tell their stories, because Muslim students treat them with such disrespect, either ignoring the speakers or walking out of the class. "˜Malmo reminds me of the anti-Semitism I felt as a child in Poland before the war,' she said."

http://www.apostasyalert.org/ Back in 1985, a book came out that examined so-called communications coming from UFOs called "In Advance of the Landing." The authors showed how the space brothers seemed to be getting the earth prepared to be open to receive them and were waiting until the moment was right before making their grand entrance to the world. As ludicrous as that sounds, there"s a parallel with the strategy of the spirit of antichrist who cannot make his debut until the timing is right, when the world has been fully prepped to accept him.Read more ...

I think that there's just so much that a normal person could put up with. We hear the sword rattling and ongoing rhetoric of the Iranians as they thrive to achieve nuclear power for "peaceful" purposes but under the same breath make no secrete of wiping Israel off the face of the earth. We hear the ongoing ranting of the Turkish government concerning their "peace" flotilla to help the poor besieged and suffering Gazans. Their "Love Boat" had terrorists from all the lands of the Middle East and were planning, in advance, a violent confrontation with the Israeli navy and, hoping, that someone gets killed so they can film it and send it to all the international press organizations. The only thing that was filmed was the beating of the Israeli unit as it boarded the ship. They were beaten and clubbed and still the Turkish govt. together with the rest of the Arab world and, unfortunately, many other nations, condemned the affair as "piracy, murder and a massacre". Well, it's good to see that the impartial United Nations has began an inquest into the affair.

:"(The original version of this paper was presented to a joint session of the Biblical Theology/Religion, Culture and Communication/Ethics and Social Theology groups on 5 July 2007 during the annual Tyndale Fellowship Study Groups Conference, Cambridge. Several useful comments made during the ensuing discussion are reflected here.)": If someone pressed us to identify a major conflict zone in the world today, the Middle East would likely top the list. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict especially has been a leading actor on the geopolitical stage for years, with rival powers and a cacophony of competing voices making this one of today"s bitterest conflicts. Jews and Palestinians vie for power, land, and even the right to exist, while two religions make rival claims to the land, with Christians siding with one or other and shouting from the sidelines. Moreover, strategic geographical and geopolitical considerations (much like during Old Testament times) cause outsiders to intervene and exacerbate the crisis. Add to this rival political and religio-political ideologies played out through the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, whether Zionist, Palestinian, or pan-Arab nationalisms, Marxist anti-imperialism, the view of Israel as a democratic oasis within an authoritarian desert, or Islamic anger at Israel"s very existence on Muslim land. :"(Also known as a waqf, or bequest from Allah.)": In short, the conflict is bitter and immensely complex, and one could be forgiven for gloomily giving up and moving on. (Published by Harvest House) "Experts Speak Out on End Times Prophecy" This book contains a series of chapter articles by a compendium of authors, including the general editors Tim LaHaye, Thomas Ice and Ed Hindson, as well as chapters contributed by Paul Wilkinson, Arnold Fruchtenbaum, David Reagan, Wayne Brindle, Michael Vlach, Wayne House, Grant Jeffrey and Robert Dean. I count the general editors among my personal friends and conference colleagues as I would various of the contributing authors. I certainly appreciate the impact Tim LaHaye has had in propounding belief in the Rapture in a popular season where Rapture belief and eschatology generally has greatly declined. I likewise consider the refutation of Dominion Theology by Thomas Ice and Wayne House to be the finest single work ever authored in opposition to that false school of doctrine. I am furthermore unable to express the depth of my appreciation for the longstanding work of my friend Arnold Fruchtenbaum, who personifies the theologically sane axis of the modern Messianic Movement that has been so plagued by lunacy. Residing in Great Britain, I can testify that the work of Paul Wilkinson in confronting so-called "Christian Anti-Zionism" and "Christian Palestinianism" to be absolutely invaluable.Read more ...

Okay I am going to say it straight out, Gen. 12:3 is very plain and it is time to look at what is happening in a very real and spiritual way.

Modern Israeli history really begins with God's covenant with Abraham as mentioned in Genesis 12:1-3. Then, of course, there's the "Land Deed" which, unfortunately today, wouldn't mean much in the world court at The Hague or the United Nations, "And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your decendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your decendants after you. Also I give to you and your decendants after you the land in which you are a strnger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." Genesis 17:7,8. We can go on forever with the history of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel but let's focus more on the "Modern, Modern Israel."Read more ...

How It Could Happen

Posted in Doc Blog
26.10.07 at 5:10 pm This one defies belief. The Jerusalem Post reports on the former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem"s denial that there was ever a Jewish temple on the Temple Mount. The whole thing is a total invention, he claims, and the Western Wall was originally part of an ancient mosque. Thus, Jews have no history on the Temple Mount and have no right even to pray there. That a senior Muslim cleric can so blatantly ignore the archaeological data, as well as the many historical documents attesting to the Jewish temple, is incredible. His dismissal of literally tonnes of archaeological evidence would make even a biblical archaeology minimalist break out in a cold sweat.Read more ...

Marching towards Gog & Magog (Ezekial 38 & 39) Obama makes deal with Russia allowing Russia to continue to see nuclear technology to Iran,   - Jacob Prasch

There is a convergence of military, economic, spiritual and political events that amount to a Prophetic Perfect Storm. First we have a global economic meltdown which has turned up the heat hot for the United States, the EU, Russia, the Arab nations, Iran, Pakistan, Israel, China, Mexico and just about every nation on Planet Earth. Global economies are reeling and nation-states are desperate to economically survive and prosper. Now comes the big crisis which is Israel, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and nuclear weapons in the hands of militant Islam.

Lunacy Strikes Again

Harold Camping's Family Radio Is At It Once More Not for the first time, false teacher and proven false prophet Harold Camping and his frolicking band of religious lunatics and "Family Radio" devotees are discrediting the Body of Christ with absurd doctrines and false predictions. The date-setting for the return of Christ forbidden by Jesus, hatred of all other churches and ministries aside from their own, the hideous old crank cum heretical false prophet they have for a guru and the absurd doctrines of this cultic and pathetic deceived brood of supposed scripture-believing Christians of some warped description resembles the Jehovah's Witnesses and the World Wide Church of God of the late conniver Herbert W. Armstrong. It holds no resemblance, of course, to any scriptural model of Christianity dating back to the Millerites of the 19th century. That movement directly and indirectly spawned a diverse array of cults and splinter sects including the Seventh-day Adventists and The Dawn Bible Society which became the Jehovah's Witnesses. Similar episodes of such false predictions for Christ's return have surfaced at multiple pivotal points in church history such as with the early Montanists, the Muenster Ana Baptists in the 16th century and with the Shakers in the 18th century.Read more ...

WASHINGTON, USA (Worthy News)-- A religious liberty group warned Saturday, February 6, that,  "Anti-Christian hostility is getting increasingly deadly" in the United States after two street preachers were shot and killed by a teenager who apparently opposed their message.

Dear All,
This is our overview of what is happening, it can't be exhaustive, too much is happening and I can't pretend that this is an in depth analysis either, but perhaps it will give Moriel supporters an idea of what is going on. The news over here and the blogs are full (of course) of reports on this "new intifada,"--though whether it is an intifada or not is a matter of debate; but over here it is called the gal-ha-terror, the "terror wave". It has so far lacked the cohesion and concerted nature of a general uprising, but consists more of "lone wolf" attacks, so called. In one sense these kind of attacks are far more terrifying, because they are not localised, they can occur anywhere (thankfully not in our town so far), and even the Moslem friend or trusted Moslem Arab worker that you have known for years can turn into a killing machine. The attacks are not just being perpetrated by the unemployed or the "poor and disadvantaged" sectors of Palestinian society either; one of the recent attacks in Jerusalem was perpetrated by a Moslem employee of Bezek (our national telecom and phone company and in which jobs are coveted) who drove his company car into a group of pedestrians mowing some down, then leapt out and proceeded to stab them.

Bible Prophecy -- Subject to Change In the early days of TBN, the idea of an immanent Rapture set the tone of TBN eschatology (the study of last things). The natural outcome of recognizing the signs of the times for the Christian should be the urgency to share the gospel with others.
