He was as much an evangelist as a pastor and faithfully led many souls to Jesus over many years of ministry. He and his wife Barbara once joined us on a study tour of Israel. To our Brethren in Jesus,
It is appropriate for me to commence by earnestly thanking you all for your much valued and appreciated prayers and support during the last year. This has been particularly true in light of my own health struggles with lympho-edema and the infectious cellulites in my lower limbs that easily cause recurrence. I have spent three stretches hospitalized in the UK & USA totaling nearly seven weeks since September when I very nearly went home to glory because of bilateral kidney and hepatic failure due to cellulite infection. I have since that time been hospitalized twice and had surgery in California plus a series of subcutaneous tissue ingrates above my ankle. My lower legs remain in compression castings and I undergo self administered lymphatic pump treatments daily plus, for the moment, a cocktail if medication. I frequently require crutches to be mobile.  The susceptibility to cellulite reinfection is high and the ramifications for my neck injury and restrictions on the hydro therapy I used to reduce reliance on anti-inflammatory agents is problematic. The anti inflammatory drugs, without which I experience extremely painful brachio-plexis and partial paralysis in my left arm, are contra-indicated for other medications I am required to take. Yet The Lord has allowed this.

He was certainly a deceiver who did much harm to NZ (and to the UK via Hallel Grange deliverance centre which he was a co-founder of along with Peter Harrobin, who divorced his Christian wife and married another woman with no valid scriptural grounds such as unrepentant adultery by her)

It was with very considerable sadness that we learned of the temporary loss of our friend & brother Max Rosenquist who was a volunteer rep for Moriel in the Chicago area. Max was seminary educated, a clever person, and a faithful servant of The Lord. Max was an early champion of the rapture being between the 6th & 7th seals who stood with Moriel in our disagreement with Pre Tribulationism. We shall miss Max until we are re-united. Max thrived on the subject of the return of Jesus and the rapture - but now he no longer needs to wait for Jesus.

It is with mourning and compassion for his wife that Moriel and Jacob Prasch learned that Doug Harris of Reachout Trust went to be with The Lord.  Read more ...

Friday, April 5, 2013, Dave Hunt drew his final breath and entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His beloved wife Ruth was at his side.  

Jacob Prasch will not be speaking as scheduled at Normandy & Tongham Christian Fellowship, UK Sunday morning, 23rd December. Jacob is stranded in USA with cancelled flights due to snow storms with an unavailability of alternative flights due to heavy holiday air traffic. Moriel & Jacob apologetically regret the cancellation due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. We nonetheless extend worshipers at the carol service holiday blessings in Jesus.

Because of reports that visitors to the Moriel website might have experienced infection by malicious software often called a "trojan" or "virus", we have twice taken down the website and, in concert with technical resources supplied by our host provider, conducted scans in concert with the implementation of additional monitoring tools. In spite of a clean bill of health, a small percentage of visitors still report problems. Not every infection is caused by visiting a particular site. One of their tricks is to make it look that way in order to disguise their true origin. Because this is not happening to every visitor, the most likely cause is limited to people using a computer that is not current with its operating system updates, not using the latest version of a good antivirus package, not using the latest version of their preferred web browser, or a combination of all three. We strongly encourage everyone to make sure their system is up to date in each of these areas.

Motor Neuron Disease , one of the most cruel diseases known to man, doesn't realise it yet but because of the triumph of Jesus over death it has lost its battle for the life of Sister Linn Elliot who went to be with Jesus to await her resurrected body that will be disease free. I first met David Wilkerson in my native New York when he first opened Time Square Church. I actually lived in Israel at the time. He informed me three months before it happened that God warned him to avoid a certain major TV evangelist whom most, including myself, considered to be doctrinally sound (which he was) but he was morally flawed. It was a prophetic word indeed. Three months later Jimmy Swaggert fell.

When a brother or sister in Christ is suffering from a terminal illness and it is not the purpose of God to heal them but to call them home to Himself, it is always with a combination of sadness of joy that we learn of the temporary loss. The Comedy Central network has a long history of denigrating Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. Now, they are developing a new series called "JC" that will openly mock Jesus and give Comedy Central even more time and latitude to increase their attacks on a religion practiced by 80 percent of Americans.

There is now a website titled "The Dangers of Roman Catholic Schools". It is dedicated to warning ANYONE who might be considering enrolling their children in a Catholic school. It not only has a complete online transcription of Jacob's booklet, "The Roman Catholic Church & the Abuse of Children" but from that page anyone can download the entire booklet for free to distribute as necessary. There is also a "Links to Resources" page providing both Christian and secular sources documenting and warning of the problem for independent verification of the danger.

For the second time in less than a month, the Palestinian Authority (PA) has moved to publicly glorify mass murderers of innocent Israeli civilians.

Because of the generous contributions to Moriel Ministries to aid the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, Moriel is donating the entire $10,000 cost for a water purification system in support of a relief camp set up in Haiti by the local Calvary Chapel. The following is their report which expands on both their efforts and the need for a water purification system.

On behalf of Jacob Prasch, ,  Moriel thanks our readers and friends for the absolute avalanche of prayers and best wishes we have received for Jacob Prasch who has been cleared to return to Britain for further treatment and recuperation after narrowly averting what his physicians say would likely have been a fatal stroke had he boarded the plane in Cape Town for Asia as scheduled. We attribute,  Jacob noticing the phlebitis in is ankle and the presence of his friend Dr. Hilda Podlas (a Jewish medical specialist consultant who came to faith through Jacob's tapes with her husband) at a preaching engagement in Cape Town as divine intervention. He is released from hospital, the phlebitis reveals no thrombosis, blood pressure is under control with medication, but he remains in persistent cardiac fibrillation with arrhythmia and a marginally enlarged heart,  requiring,  ,  on going treatment in the UK. ,  Continuing prayer is much valued. We thank God a massive stroke was prevented and there was no heart attack.

Last year, Jacob Prasch and Moriel asked me if I would go to South Africa to visit Dave Royle in order to offer some practical and educational advice concerning the College's programme and vision. During my visit, I was able to see everything Moriel is doing in there, including Moriel Missions College, the church in Springs (near Johannesburg), the work with orphaned children, and the rural mission outreach among the Zulus in KwaZulu Natal (formerly the Natal Province).
