There is a convergence of military, economic, spiritual and political events that amount to a Prophetic Perfect Storm. First we have a global economic meltdown which has turned up the heat hot for the United States, the EU, Russia, the Arab nations, Iran, Pakistan, Israel, China, Mexico and just about every nation on Planet Earth. Global economies are reeling and nation-states are desperate to economically survive and prosper. Now comes the big crisis which is Israel, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and nuclear weapons in the hands of militant Islam.

If Pakistan falls to the Taliban, al Qaeda will have 60 nuclear weapons. The balance of power will radically change for militant Islam!

President Obama's sympathies appear to lie with the Islamic world and not Israel. The U.S. State Department is applying enormous pressure on Israel to accept a two-State solution and a dividing Jerusalem. In fairness to President Obama, this was the Bush plan. President Obama's Administration is reaching out to Iran and Syria. Yet the President has stated publicly that he will not allow Iran to attain a nuclear bomb. But, the reality is that underneath the rhetoric, at Natanz and Bushehr and numerous other locations Iran moves quickly forward developing nuclear weapons When President Obama meets with Netanyahu, he will be starkly reminded that Israel will not allow a nuclear Iran.

To compound the problem, Gen. David Petraeus, who oversees the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, warned that Pakistan is now the center of al Qaeda's global operations. Petraeus believes that al Qaeda now runs global terror operations from Pakistan into Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, North Africa, Europe and the United States. General Petraeus warned that Pakistan is in imminent danger of falling under the complete control of the Taliban. This would give al Qaeda nuclear weapons and control of a nation more powerful than Iran. At this moment the Taliban is planning a counter surge in Afghanistan and Pakistan to confront U.S. troops and seize Pakistan.

If the Taliban gets its hands on Pakistan's arsenal of nuclear weapons they give make al Qaeda an official nuclear power. An Electro Magnetic Pulse Weapon (EMP) fired into the atmosphere over the United States from an al Qaeda naval vessel literally crashes our power grid, electronic and computer systems. Large areas of the America would be without power, water, communications or food. It would make what happened during Hurricane Katrina look like a Sunday school picnic, not to mention destroying our economy. Great Britain and the EU are equally vulnerable.

For obvious reasons this weighs very heavily on the United Nations, EU and U.S. They see implementing a two-state solution in Israel as an important part of their global strategy to deal with terrorism and establish global government. The Pope's visit to Jerusalem represented the Vatican's role in making Jerusalem an international city. The Vatican, EU and the United Nations are moving collectively to bring to divide the City of David.

Intelligence sources around the world believe that Pakistan has displaced Afghanistan as al Qaeda's main stronghold. "It is the headquarters of the al Qaeda senior leadership," said the general, who took the helm of the U.S. military's Central Command last fall.

In the interview, Gen. Petraeus warned of difficult months ahead in Afghanistan, saying Taliban militants are moving weapons and forces into areas where the U.S. is adding troops, planning a massive "surge" of their own to counter the U.S. plan.
In Israel, Netanyahu has put Iran and the world on notice that Israel will not tolerate an existential threat to its existence. Time is running and Israel must act soon if they are to destroy Iran's nuclear plants. The United States and the EU are concerned that the Iranians may use the bomb or give it to a third party. A nuclear Iran and a nuclear Taliban could destroy their plans for "Israeli-Arab normalization" and empower Hamas and Hezbollah.

As the prophet Zechariah predicted over 2,500 years ago, Israel has become a cup trembling to the nations. The U.S., EU, Russia, China, and other nations of the world have their destines, economies and very existence tied to the nation of Israel. Yet, the Bible, a book which is banned by most of these governments, predicted these events long ago when the prophet Zechariah said,

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be torn in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. -Zechariah 12:2, 3

The nations of the earth persecute and kill both Christians and Jews The Bible is banned in most Western nations. In fact, many books of the Bible are banned in Evangelical Churches, such as the teaching of the Book of Revelation and Bible prophecy. Yet, Jesus Christ said repeatedly in the Book of Revelation,

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. Rev.16:15-16.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Revelation 22:12
