In a day and age that is full of misinformation where modern-day preachers are giving "new"  ways people can receive salvation or eternal life, the Bible makes it very clear the Gospel or good news of salvation is to hear it (Romans 10:14-17), to believe it (John 8:24), to repent (Acts 17:30-31), to confess it (Romans 10:9-10), and to be baptized (Acts 2:38).

There seems a way that is right unto a man but leads to destruction.
