The Long Abuse of Dark-skinned People!

RACISM is strong in Salt Lake City! The only Indian from the General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints exposed the racist leadership! Navajo, George P. Lee, complained, "You are slowly causing a...spiritual slaughter..." and promoting "white supremacy." (The Provo Daily Herald, Sep. 3, 1989).

The Mormon faith was established on extreme racism! Joseph Smith, the president, first prophet and founder continually attacked darker people. Indians were called "...dark, and loathsome, and a filthy people, full of idleness and all manner of abominations" (1 Nephi 12:23). African-Americans were continually abused and cursed. Smith said, "Had I anything to do with the negro, I would confine them by strict law to their own species, and put them on a national equalization" (History of the Church, Vol. 5, pp. 218-219). The Mormons rejected what Scripture endorses, racial integration (Galatians 3:28).

How should I rate a religion? Preferences and family tradition won't cut it with God! I must consider it's history, it's leadership, and whether it consistently teaches the truth. Mormonism curses our families because of skin and blood-lines. The Book of Mormon is about the dark and loathsome (bad guys) and the white and delightsome (good guys). It says white people turned into cursed dark-skinned Lamanites, "...wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome...the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them" (2 Nephi 5:21). In the Pearl of Great Price, Moses 7:8, the Canaanites turned into the black race "...despised among all people." Wrong! The Canaanite problem was sin, not skin! Real Scripture, the Bible, knows no prejudice due to the shading of skin, but the writings held sacred by the Mormon church are full of it.

Choose your prophet! "'Because of that curse this dark race was separated and isolated...despised among all people.' This doctrine...was taught by the Prophet Joseph Smith...we all know it is due to his teachings that the negro today is barred from the Priesthood" (The Way to Perfection, pp. 110-111). A real prophet said in the Bible, "Have we not all one father? Hath not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously, every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?" (Malachi 2:10).

Brigham Young, the second Mormon president and prophet, LIED saying, "I have never yet preached a sermon and sent it out to the children of men, that they may not call Scripture" (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 13, p. 95). The egotistical bigot said, "You see some classes of the human family that are black, uncouth, uncomely, disagreeable and low in their habits, wild, and seemingly without the blessings of the intelligence that is generally bestowed upon mankind...the Lord put a mark on him, which is the flat nose and black skin" (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 7, pp. 290-291). Like the KKK, Mormon viciousness opposes God's Book, the Bible! The black Shulamite woman, in the Song of Solomon is blessed and praised as the "fairest among women!" (Song of Solomon 1:5-8).

The name Brigham Young University was given to honor a Mormon hero. Brigham said, "Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so" (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 10, p. 110). Mormon law is not God's! Moses, God's law-giver, married an African (Numbers 12:1). Then God directed His wrath at prejudiced Miriam. Here is God's Law, Brigham! "But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors" (James 2:9).

The Mormon church self-destructed in 1978 by receiving blacks! "On that very day, and from the hour we should do so, the priesthood is taken from this church and kingdom, and God leaves us to our fate. The moment we consent to mingle with the seed of Cain, the Church must go to destruction,--we should receive the curse..." (Brigham Young Address, Feb. 5, 1852, Ms d 1234, Box 488, Folder 3, L.D.S. Archives). Read the Bible! The real Church of Jesus Christ embraced the black people from the very beginning! In Acts 13:1, "Niger," meaning black, shared equally in the leadership of the Church. Brigham continued, "...the Lord told Cain that he should not receive the blessings of the priesthood nor his seed...until the redemption of the earth." Make no mistake, Mormon "scripture" declared the impossibility of Blacks in the priesthood forever! Mormonism is by self-definition a cursed religion.

John Taylor, the Mormon third president and prophet LIED saying, "...it was necessary that the devil should have a representation upon the earth as well as God..." (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 22, p. 304). Jesus denounced Pharisaical bigotry and pride about ancestry saying, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do...for he is a LIAR, and the father of it" (John 8:44). What would He tell the Mormon church? You will hear on judgment day!

Bruce McConkie who served on the Quorum of the 12 apostles, said, "Racial degeneration, resulting in differences in appearance and spiritual aptitude, has arisen since the fall...cursed with what we call negroid racial characteristics" (Mormon Doctrine, p. 616). That's foolish! "...the Negroes, and those spirits who are not worthy to receive the priesthood are born through his lineage" (Mormon Doctrine, p. 109). Were Adam and Eve white, dark, or what we call interracial with the gene pool for the whole human race? No one knows!

Joseph Fielding Smith, the tenth president and prophet of the Mormon church, said, "Cain...became the father of an inferior race. A curse was placed upon him and that curse has been continued through his lineage and must do so while time endures...cursed with a black skin...emblematical of eternal darkness" (The Way to Perfection, pp. 101-102). The god of Mormonism indiscriminately favors whites. The true God is not partial (Romans 2:11; 1 Peter 1:17). He expects us to be impartial too (Ephesians 6:9; Colossians 3:25).

Mark Peterson of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles of the Mormon church said, "...He cursed the Negro as to Priesthood, and drew an absolute line. You may even say he dropped an Iron curtain there." "If there is one drop of negro blood in my children, as I have read to you, they receive the curse." "We are willing that the Negro have the highest kind of education....But let them enjoy these things among themselves," (Race Problems--As They Affect the Church. Address given at Brigham Young University). NO! "God...hath made of one blood all nations of men..." (Acts 17:24-27). While Mormon leaders ridicule darker skin; God's people embrace Christians of all races equally like it will be in Heaven
(Revelation 7:9)!

Mormon officials continue to put down interracial marriage. How is it that many godly ancestors of Jesus intermarried with non-Jews? Mormon apostle, Legrand Richards said, "The Japanese ought to marry Japanese; the Chinese ought to marry Chinese; the Hawaiians ought to marry Hawaiians; and the colored people ought to marry coloreds" (Interview with Mormon Apostle LeGrand Richards concerning the 1978 Negro "Revelation," Ex-Mormons for Jesus Visitor's Center, P.O. Box 3947, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670). Richards worked with President Kimball in 1978 and made it clear; taking blacks into the priesthood never was due to a divine message from the Lord. Then, whose idea was it and why?

For further control, expansion, and profit, some blacks were given "privileges" and secret initiations in Mormonism in 1978. This happened when Mormon missionaries were sent to Africa and a Mormon temple had just been built in Brazil where many people are of mixed blood. The Mormon Church failed right where Brigham Young emphatically warned they would loose all authority! While Mormonism lacks even one legitimate priest; born-again believers are God's royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:6)!

Mormon cover-ups include rewriting the book they say came from God. In 1981, they changed "white" to "pure" in 2 Nephi 30:6. Context and history clearly prove the intent was skin. Brigham Young LIED declaring that apostates would become physically "gray-haired, wrinkled, and black, just like the Devil" (Journal of Discourses 5:332). "...God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted by him..." (Acts 10:34-36).

Yet Mormon missionaries still bear witness that the prejudiced LDS founder Joseph Smith told the truth. Have you been suckered in too? Will you embrace a history of destructive bigotry or will you look for a neighborhood church that really teaches the Word of God? How many lies do you need to examine to know that the Mormon religion is just another> cult? Lead your family to know the true God! The unbiased Gospel that saves is defined in the Bible and preached in genuine churches of Jesus Christ, "...how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Who attacked whom? The Mormon church claims to be the only true church. All others are the whore of the earth (1 Nephi 14:10). It was built on the stories of an unrespectable kid, Joseph Smith. At 14, he walked out of the woods and attacked the Christian faith and God's churches. He claimed, "...they were all wrong" and God told him "that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight" (Joseph Smith 2:19). When asked, "Will all be damned, but Mormons?" (the religion he founded), he said, "Yes!" (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 119). Whether you follow mythology or Christianity is a choice you must make. Mormonism has no value whatsoever in giving our people a right standing before God. RUN, don't walk, to the nearest exit of the Mormon Ward.

Friend, you deserve the truth! Read the Gospel of John to know the real Jesus. Read about Mormon deception from the CULTS section of your Christian bookstore.
