Peace by Appeasement - Peace with Islam

Let Us Reason Ministries

The events of the last few weeks are monumental both politically and spiritually, though they may go unnoticed by many. Before we get into the heart of this newsletters topic, let me give some background.

Islam is fighting its war on two fronts. One is obvious, destroying western civilization by terrorism via explosions. The other is by using the media to promote a peace curriculum that presents their religion as docile, beautiful and even harmless. That it is the extremists are abusing their religion and this is only side we hear in the news. Actually, we rarely hear what is really taking place on a day to day basis.

Jihad is the Muslim view that the world is divided into two parts: Muslim and the non-Muslim people and lands. A dhimmi is any non-Muslim who is tolerated under the Islamic rule of government in their land. Sura 9:29 "Fight those who do not believe in Allah "¦ until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a states of subjection with willing submission and feel themselves subdued" (1917 Maulana Mohammed Ali Translation). "Dhimmi" includes both Jews and Christians as a single unit because they are bound together as the People of the Book. This phrase the people of the book is used several times in the Qu’ran.

In Sura 5:15: "O people of the Book! There hath come to you our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary). There hath come to you from Allah a (new) light and a perspicuous Book."The Qu’ran has very strong language that often assault and malign the People of the Book; Jews and Christians. Here (and elsewhere) we find that Mohammad’s revelation is to replace the Old and New Testament. These revelations came as a reaction to the Jews and Christians refused to accept Mohammed as a prophet and convert. The Qu’ran is a Muslims constitution for everything in life (including the Hadith which is a commentary on the prophet Mohammed’s life). When people notice two different statements said on the same topic we are often told by Muslims the violent verses are abrogated by the peaceful ones; NO- it is the opposite. The later revelations were put first. The Qu’ran is arranged, so the earlier chapters are the later and the later are the earlier. Without knowing this one cannot understand what Mohammed said in his last revelations from his god that abrogate the earlier.

In Surah 25:51-52 (Al-Furqan) Muslims are instructed to "struggle" against unbelievers. This is on two fronts.

Jihad is a perpetual conflict and the normal state of relationship between the non-Muslim and the Muslim. Mohammed as general lead 27 invasions, these would be considered Jihad. ‚   Mohammad would sometimes institute a temporary peace that would be to his advantage. All these are in play in our modern time. The backdrop of Black liberation theology springs from a Marxist ideology to bring equality to people that are oppressed. Rev. Wright, who was formerly Obama’s pastor recently told the Daily Press in Newport News

Va. "Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office," Wright said, according to Virginia's Daily Press. "They will not let him ... talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is." ‚  "Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don't want Barack talking like that because that's anti-Israel," Wright said.President Obama was comfortable for 20 years in Wright’s church which presents Jesus as a black man fighting white oppression. So we need understand the theology of liberation theology (to read more on

Black liberation theology) It is crucial to understand their beliefs, to grasp what is taking place and where we are headed. We have covered this in depth in numerous newsletters in 2008. On June 4, 2009 President Obama spoke to 2,500 officials present at Cairo University and the Muslims throughout the world (these are excerpts of the whole speech posted on the State Department website). There are those that thought his speech was groundbreaking, others reacted adversely to his speech. We will look at the parts applicable to Islam, and his administrations policy change toward Israel. We need to understand that in our time, Politics do affect our faith and the church. I was writing the newsletter on another topic and stopped to address this, because it is that important. as world events are unfolding related to the new policies of America.

[The underlined portions of the speech are what will be addressed and my commentary is in blue.]

"President Obama Speaks to the Muslim World from Cairo"

:After the President gave a introduction to the city of Cario and the people he stated "”"And I'm also proud to carry with me the goodwill of the American people, and a greeting of peace from Muslim communities in my country: ‚   Assalaamu alaykum."

Obamas speech mixes religion with politics. This speech begins and ends as a religious speech. No other president has made such a religious speech of appeasement to Islam at a time when we need strength.

"Assalaamu alaykum" is unable to be said to the Christian and Jews or any other religion but Islam. It means Peace upon you- how? By accepting the prophet and religion of Islam.Obama seems more comfortable with Islam in other countries than those of other religions he is at odds in his own country.

"We meet at a time of great tension between the United States and Muslims around the world -- tension rooted in historical forces that go beyond any current policy debate. ‚   The relationship between Islam and the West includes centuries of coexistence and cooperation, but also conflict and religious wars. More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. ‚   Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam."

True, this tension is ancient and religious and there has been but a few times of cooperation. However, America has never been involved in colonialism like England or other countries. We have not denied rights, in fact, they have been given rights. We only need to look to Iraq for this modern example. We along with other nations fought against Saddams tyrranical regime. Once he was removed We did not force them to be like America or deny their religion. Actually it is Islam that is hostile toward modern civilization, especially of western democracy. The reason: freedom is a threat to them, both political and religious freedom.

They are hostile to anything that does not fit with the traditions of Islam."Violent extremists have exploited these tensions in a small but potent minority of Muslims. ‚   The attacks of September 11, 2001 and the continued efforts of these extremists to engage in violence against civilians has led some in my country to view Islam as inevitably hostile not only to America and Western countries, but also to human rights. ‚   All this has bred more fear and more mistrust.

So long as our relationship is defined by our differences, we will empower those who sow hatred rather than peace, those who promote conflict rather than the cooperation that can help all of our people achieve justice and prosperity. ‚   And this cycle of suspicion and discord must end.

We cannot help viewing Islam as anything but hostile to America and Western countries, and against human rights. This is proven by the way they run their own countries and interact with others. They do not allow freedom of speech or worship. Though those doing the violence are smaller in numbers many more support their actions.

This is an obvious use of the Hegalian Dialectic process (that was used by Marxists before) to convince the untaught, uneducated and unwary into a new way to live. The purpose is to "change" political views, to reform beliefs. Having us concentrate on a few things we can agree with so that the ones we do not agree with will be ignored and replaced by a new co-operation (he calls the new age). As Americans and western civilization we have nothing to do with the justice or prosperity that is incorporated in Islam. This is not mixing apples and oranges; it is mixing oil with water.

"I've come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. ‚   Instead, they overlap, and share common principles -- principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings."

You can start with how the Qu’ran disavows respect by saying things about the Jews and Christians and even the atheists. Islam has no respect with those they disagree with, only when we argree with THEM. There is no equating a country based on human freedom and the ability to choose for both men and woman with a religion that supresses woman, or allow equality. There is no freedom to choose a different point of view- for worship or develop their mind for progress.

Can we learn from each other when it states in Sura 3:118: ‚  "O you who believe! Take not as your friends those outside your religion [Jews and Christians] since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you."

They are taught to not trust anyone but a Muslim, and they do not do well at that either.

For the Qu’ran says 3:61 "Then whoever disputes with you concerning him [Jesus] after all the knowledge that has come to you [i.e. Jesus being a slave of Allah and having no share in Divinity] say: 'Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke the Curse of Allah upon those who lie [who believe Jesus is the son of Allah]." There is only one view that is valid- theirs.

Often we hear the Qu’ran quoted, "Let there be no compulsion in Religion" (2:256). However, there is a qualification in Sura 3:85 "Whoever seeks other than Islam as his religion, it will not be accepted from him." Thus, Mohammed said, "I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, none has the right to be worshipped but Allah" (Al Bukhari vol. 4:196).

How can it be said there is no competition and we share common principles of justice?

"There must be a sustained effort to listen to each other; to learn from each other; to respect one another; and to seek common ground. As the Holy Koran tells us, "Be conscious of God and speak always the truth." ‚   (Applause.) ‚   That is what I will try to do today -- to speak the truth as best I can, humbled by the task before us, and firm in my belief that the interests we share as human beings are far more powerful than the forces that drive us apart."

I could not find the verse he referred to in the Qu’ran?

Respect would have been something for Mohammed to practice, but he had something called hudna, a term used in his campaign against the Quariash tribe in the treaty of Hudaybiya in 628 AD.

This same concept is followed today

When the Palestinian leader Yassar Arafat signed the Oslo Accords in 1993, he began to apologize in Arabic to Muslims around the world, explaining he was following Muhammad's example of a hudna, a tactical maneuver to deceive Israel and ultimately to destroy her. This was a 10-year truce made by the prophet Muhammad in A.D. 628 with the Quraysh tribe. The Islamic forces used the peace treaty a few years later when they become stronger they defeated the Quraysh tribe.

"We exaggerate when we say 'peace'... what we are speaking about is 'Hudna', a temporary ceasefire." (Arab Knesset Member Abdel Maleh Dahamshe, Palestinian Television, Sept. 1, 2000).

Can anyone explain how is there to be respect when hatred goes over the TV day in and out "have no mercy on the Jews no matter where they are, in any country ... wherever you are, kill them ... and those Americans who are like them "“ and those infidels who stand by them" (excerpts from a sermon in the ‚  Zayed bin Sultan Aal Nahyan mosque in Gaza, ‚  official Palestinian Authority television. "Kill Jews and Americans" broadcast by PA (Palestinian Authority, government) TV.

"Now part of this conviction is rooted in my own experience. I'm a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims. ‚   As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and at the fall of dusk. ‚   As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith."

The President says he is now a Christian but every decision he makes lacks godly wisdom and itgoes against the principles and instruction of the Bible.

Furthermore, to admit to the Islamic world of being a former Muslim, now a Christian is an offence to Islam. This is considered apostasy to Muslims.

Sura 22:38 "Verily God will defend (from ill) those who believe: verily, God loveth not any that is a traitor to faith, or show ingratitude."Apostasy laws in Muslim lands for those who convert are severe- death. Christians face a death sentence in Islamic countries. I’m not sure what the president is presenting but this cuts both ways. To Islam once a person is born into a Muslim family, this means one is still a Muislim for Mohammed said,

"Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him." (Hadith Al Buhkari vol. 9:57) This command is practiced in almost all Islamic Fundamentalist countries today.

"As a student of history, I also know civilization's debt to Islam. ‚   It was Islam -- at places like Al-Azhar -- that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe's Renaissance and Enlightenment. ‚   It was innovation in Muslim communities -- (applause) -- it was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. ‚   Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. ‚   And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality." ‚   (Applause)

Islam did not pave the way for Europes Renaissance, though our modern revisioned politically correct history books may say otherwise. The European artists and architects were creating long before Islam invaded them. Europes Gothic Art and Architecture are found in religious and secular buildings, sculptures and art. Islam loves to take credit from other civilizations creativity. Islam acquired scientific and mathematical knowledge from the Greco- Byzantian Empire while Western Europe succumbed to the Roman Catholic dark ages. but Islam was not the cause for the enlightenment.

Iberia (Spain) was conquered in 710-716 AD by jihad by Arab tribes originating from northern, central and southern Arabia immigrated and the colonized the Iberian peninsula by conquest, pillages, enslavement, deportations and killings. Jews and Christians were as dhimmis-churches were converted into mosques and they were not allowed to build new churches or synagogues or restore the old ones. The Byzantine Empire stood against Islamic imperialism and tyranny for more than 800 years until it fell to Islam. Islam occupied Africa, (Egypt), Syria and dominated the whole Mediterranean. This European invasion was stopped in France by Charles Martel. (see this article on the sheikhs of the Al-Azhar Mosque,

The crusades of the eleventh through the thirteenth centuries are constantly brought up by Muslims to accuse the West of imperialism... Muslims have ignored their own Jihad for nearly 1,000 years. The fact is that they veiw this as their land and want it back. For more in depth information: http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/archives/001665.php

Lets address each of these so called contributions of Islam:

Algebra- The invention of algebra dates back more than 1,000 B.C., if not earlier (long before Mohammed and Islam). It goes back to Egypt and even Babylon. The algebra we know today was invented by the Greeks. Thales of Miletus (640-546 B.C.) to attribute this to Islam is to misinform people. The first treatise on Algebra is by Diophantus, an Alexandrian mathematician, about A.D. 350. The word for algebra is found in the title of a work by Mahommed ben Musa al-Khwarizmi (Hovarezmi), at the beginning of the 9th century ilm al-jebr wa'l-muqabala. There were Persians and others that had become part of the progression of Algebra’s development as others, but to say it was an innovation of Muslims is wrong.

Compass - Originated in ancient China approx. AD 270; (they were not Chinese Muslims.)

Different methods of navigation involved charting the stars that were used by the Greeks and the Polynesians, so I have no idea what he means. The Greek astronomer Hipparchus 2nd century BC. cataloged more than 850 stars believed that the world was round like all spheres. Unlike the Qu’ran that says "when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring" (Sura 18:86).

Mastery of pens and printing -most trace ink to be invented by the Chinese philosopher, Tien-Lcheu (2697 B.C.) writing was done on papyrus with a reed cut to a point and dipped in ink. The Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans and Hebrews all wrote on papyrus and later on parchment. Romans created a reed-pen perfect for parchment and ink. Quill pens was made by the Spanish theologian St. Isidore of Seville in the 600, and dominated for nearly 1,000 years. Wood-fiber paper was invented in China in 105 A.D. became known in Japan around 700 A.D. and was brought to Spain by the Arabs in 711 A.D. paper mills were built in the late 14th century Paper and were then widely used throughout Europe.

There is a story of Ma' „ d al-Mu'izz, the caliph of Egypt (953 AD), wanted a pen which would not stain his hands or clothes, and it says he was provided with a pen which held ink in a reservoir. But we are not old by whom.

German printer Johannes Gutenberg is credited with inventing the type mold in the mid-15th century

The Gutenberg Bible was printed at Johann Gutenberg's shop in Mainz, Germany 1455. Gutenberg was certainly not a Muslim, printing the Latin bible as his first book. Graphite, a form of carbon was first discovered in the Seathwaite, near Keswick, England, about 1564 by an unknown person. Shortly after this the first pencils were made in the same area. French chemist Nicolas Conte developed and patented the process used to make pencils in 1795. He used a mixture of clay and graphite which was put in a wooden case. In 1938 the Hungarian brothers Georg and Ladislao Biro invented a practical ballpoint pen, though some say it originated from Galileo during the 17th century. Again I have no idea where this information is found.

Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires

- These came by the Greeks and Romans; classic Greek architecture. The Romans Arch of Ttus, The Arch of Constantine. Spires were mostly associated with churches. When the Muslims conquered Syria in 636, they took over the basilican churches and used them as mosques. These basilicas were triple-arched buildings. They eventually created their own distinctive art styles and made it a signature in their architecture but they did not invent them.

Musical instruments are not allowed in many Muslim traditions, though one can be justified in saying they had a contribution to poetry and literature.

Each culture (civilizations) took from the other and built on it. The Romans acquired their learning from the Athenian Greeks and took it further, as the British did from Italians etc.

The Islam that progressed was not the fundamentalist (wahabbist) Islam as we see today, it was a Westernized- Hellenistic Islam. They have contributed to Medicine by building on what they learned from the Greeks. Throughout its history Islam, Arabs, became the custodians of science, architecture, and art of other civilizations land they conquered and occupied. They would often incorporate into their history and lay claim for the inventions of others. Modern science arose in Western Europe, and America not in the Islamic world.

Islam has NOT demonstrated through words and deeds religious tolerance and racial equality in its history unless it had to, because of weakness. Once Islam discovered vast amount of oil they had, thanks to western civilization. The Arab nations began to amass wealth and control. With the re-establishment of the Nation of Israel the Muslims were awakened to a new jihad led by their fundamentalist clerics.

"I also know that Islam has always been a part of America's story

. ‚   The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. ‚   In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President, John Adams, wrote, "The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims." ‚   And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. ‚   They have fought in our wars, they have served in our government, they have stood for civil rights, they have started businesses, they have taught at our universities, they've excelled in our sports arenas, they've won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. ‚   And when the first Muslim American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers -- Thomas Jefferson -- kept in his personal library." ‚   (Applause.)

John Adams knew Islam from Thomas Jefferson who kept a copy of the Koran for The Barbary Wars from 1801-1805, lets read what he actually said:

"In the seventh century of the Christian era a wandering Arab, of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combing the powers of transcendent genius with the preternatural energy of a fanatic and the fraudulent spirit of an imposter, proclaimed himself as a messenger from heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth.

Adopting, from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God, he connected indissolubly with it the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. ‚   Adopting from the new revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion.

He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war as part of his religion against all the rest of mankind. ‚   The essence of his doctrine was violence and lust; to exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature.

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in the characters, a war of more than twelve hundred years has already raged. ‚   That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extincture of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. ‚   While the merciless and dissolute are encouraged to furnish motives to human action, there never can be peace on earth and good will toward men. ‚   The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him."(John Adams, 1830 John Quincy Adams, "Christianity"”Islamism." ‚   "Unsigned essays dealing with the Russo-Turkish War, and on Greece," originally published in The American Annual Register for 1827"”1829 (New York, 1830), Chs. X-XIV: 267"”402.

Islam was a known enemy then, but because of the media it is not accurately reported today what is actaully taking place throughout the world. The website www.islamistwatch

- tracks terrorist attacks all over the world. From 2001 to May 2009 it is over 13,000. Thomas Jefferson fought wars with Muslim pirates who lived by the Koran just as the muslim terrorists do today. This is why he read it, to know the enemy. Americans were taken as slaves from American merchant ships. President Jefferson declared war on the muslim pirates. The Barbary Wars lasted from 1801-1805 and Americans were freed in the end. ‚  What Jefferson knew Adams understood 1827 even though he had different things to say previously. President John Quincy Adams understood of the Islamic teachings of jihad war and dhimmitude

. Adams states in his essay series,

""¦he [Muhammad] declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind"¦The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God." (this whole article is worth reading:

As far as Muslims being part of America, where is the history on this? There were some that were brought over in the early days of slavery. But let’s ask the questions that count: Did Islam help draft our constitution? Did they help free the slaves in our civil war (many Muslims had in other countries and still do, look at what they are doing in Africa). Where was Islam when the United States help fight and end the two World Wars. Did the Islamic faith help in the civil rights movement in the United States? Did they contribute to our education system or medicine? I do not see their involvement and they should not get credit for this.

"So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. ‚   That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn't. ‚   And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear" (Applause.)

So what is Islam- look at its history especially its view toward other religions in the region it began. It is intolerant, it is oppressive and it challenges the truth, the religion of worship God gave man long before Mohammed.

No doubt I heard Allah's messenger(Mohammed) saying, "During the last days there will appear some young foolish people, who will say the best words, but their faith will not go beyond their throats (i.e. they will leave the faith) and will go out from their religion as an arrow goes out of the game. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for whoever kills them shall have reward on the Day of Resurrection

" (Bukhari volume 9, no.64) see- Quotes from the Qur'an and Hadith Many may not know that a presidential edict is needed for a Church to have repairs in Egypt where the President spoke.

We have a president who announced he will now make it his mission to change peoples minds on the religion of Islam. Is that what a president is to do- fight against stereotypes of a religion? Is this what he was elected for? How about fighting for the rights of all of us right here in America and abroad, keep America what the framers of our consitution wanted us to be.

"The United States has been one of the greatest sources of progress that the world has ever known. ‚   We were born out of revolution against an empire. ‚   We were founded upon the ideal that all are created equal, and we have shed blood and struggled for centuries to give meaning to those words -- within our borders, and around the world. ‚   We are shaped by every culture, drawn from every end of the Earth, and dedicated to a simple concept: E pluribus unum -- "Out of many, one."

"Moreover, freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practice one's religion. ‚   That is why there is a mosque in every state in our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders. That's why the United States government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab and to punish those who would deny it. ‚   (Applause.)

"Out of many, one"

"“ out of many people we are one people- Americans, under the constitution. We are not shaped by every culture but we accept them and allow them to be intergrated into the fabric of our socienty. Unfortunately one cannot find this same example in Muslim countries. Instead when Islam becomes strengthened or a majority, like in England, they want to implement their own Sharia law. That’s how they respect other cultures.Putting aside all the platitudes, lets see the same freedom of religion to others in any of the muslim states, how about one of them? This is what the president speaks about women, protecting their right to wear the hijab

as a women's right in America. What about having the choice of not wearing hijab in a Muslim world. He completely looked the other way on the basic human rights and oppression of women. Women can’t speak to a man that’s not her husband. That a woman is denied an education, unable to vote or drive a car in Saudi Arabia, the birth place of Islam. Women are raped, abused, the recipient of honor killings, being stoned, in the name of this royal religion in numerous Muslim countries. "So let there be no doubt: ‚   Islam is a part of America. ‚   And I believe that America holds within her the truth that regardless of race, religion, or station in life, all of us share common aspirations -- to live in peace and security; to get an education and to work with dignity; to love our families, our communities, and our God. ‚   These things we share. ‚   This is the hope of all humanity.

Of course, recognizing our common humanity is only the beginning of our task.

Words alone cannot meet the needs of our people. ‚   These needs will be met only if we act boldly in the years ahead; and if we understand that the challenges we face are shared, and our failure to meet them will hurt us all.For human history has often been a record of nations and tribes -- and, yes, religions -- subjugating one another in pursuit of their own interests. ‚   Yet in this new age, such attitudes are self-defeating.

Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail. ‚   So whatever we think of the past, we must not be prisoners to it. ‚   Our problems must be dealt with through partnership; our progress must be shared. ‚   (Applause.)In Ankara, I made clear that America is not -- and never will be -- at war with Islam.

(Applause.) ‚   We will, however, relentlessly confront violent extremists who pose a grave threat to our security -- because we reject the same thing that people of all faiths reject: ‚   the killing of innocent men, women, and children. ‚   And it is my first duty as President to protect the American people. These are some of his most weighted words-Interdependence? Sounds like he wants us to relinguish our sovereignty to unite with everyone. Not all nations are created equal. Why has America been blessed and progressed while others have not. It’s a thing called freedom, we have been on the right side against evil; but the pendulum is swinging away.

What new age? The one he is creating by his administration!

Islam part of America? President Obama said on his tour in turkey "one of the great strengths of the United States" is that it does not consider itself "a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values. I think modern Turkey was founded with a similar set of principles."

He also stated: "we will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world, including in my own country." It would appear to anyone who is still able to think sees a consistency in his statements to appeal to Islamic nations as our benefactors.

Obama said on French TV "And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world," Mr. June 1st, 2009 in interview with Canal Plus

Obama’s continues to soften our position on Islam, which is exactly in line with what Islamic world wants to see happen. Presenting America as even a small Muslim country is not accurate. We are the least of other countries, of the 60 most populated Muslim states, the U.S. ranks 58th.

1,104,000 estimate of 2001

http://www.adherents.com/rel_USA.html#religions

2.4 million (2007)

Pew Research Center

. World Factbook's count, Muslims in the United States make up about .6 percent of the population. That's around 1.8 million. We would need near 30 million mMuslims in America to be a large Muslim country. Besides this inaccuracy, we would have a mass exodus of people if this were true. And whom are the violent extremeist of? Islam. We may not think we are at war with a religion, but Islam is at war with Israel, America, and the world. While we refuse to recognize the war we are in, the Muslims have no such tolerance- they are at war with us and use every means possible. we are top priority now, take down America and other freedom loving countries will follow.

At the same time he says this everything continues "Qur’an forbade taking Jews and Christians as friends, and that applies to every Jew and Christian, with no consideration as to whether they are at war with Islam or not." (p. 37 Deen al-Haqq (The True Religion), authored in Arabic by Abdul-Rahman Ben Hamad Al-Omer. ‚   Printed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Riyadh, and paid for by the foundation of Ibrahim ibn Abdul-Aziz Al-Brahim, King Fahd’s father-in-law. ‚   Distributed by in the U.S. by ‚  IIASA)

How can one say we will never be at war with Islam, does he know the future? If America backs away from fighting Terrorism (which unanimously comes from Islam) then it will not stop, nor diminish, it will increase. Why: Because of the way Muslims think. Islam respects strength, appeasement is a sign of weakness. All faiths do not reject killing innocents. The problem -- Islam does not believe anyone who is not a Muslim is innocent. Its all through the Qu’ran.

"Over seven years ago, the United States pursued al Qaeda and the Taliban with broad international support. ‚   We did not go by choice; we went because of necessity. I'm aware that there's still some who would question or even justify the events of 9/11. ‚   But let us be clear: ‚   Al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 people on that day. ‚   The victims were innocent men, women and children from America and many other nations who had done nothing to harm anybody. ‚   And yet al Qaeda chose to ruthlessly murder these people, claimed credit for the attack, and even now states their determination to kill on a massive scale. ‚   They have affiliates in many countries and are trying to expand their reach. ‚   These are not opinions to be debated; these are facts to be dealt with.

"˜"¦Indeed, none of us should tolerate these extremists. ‚   They have killed in many countries. ‚   They have killed people of different faiths -- but more than any other, they have killed Muslims. ‚   Their actions are irreconcilable with the rights of human beings, the progress of nations, and with Islam. ‚   The Holy Koran teaches that whoever kills an innocent is as -- it is as if he has killed all mankind. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   And the Holy Koran also says whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   The enduring faith of over a billion people is so much bigger than the narrow hatred of a few. Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism -- it is an important part of promoting peace."

Al Qaeda is only the portion of the enemy that succeeded, We are not fighting an enemy without a face. Islam has always fought among themselves, long before they made the west their common enemy. ‚  If they see there own people as friends with their enemy they consider them the enemy as well.

And what of the Qu’rans quote? Whoever kills an innocent"¦

5:35Yusuf Ali: On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land." The command is applied to "Children of Israel" not to Muslims. It is not about of bringing together people with differences. The verse does not use the word "innocent" anywhere (in any translations of the verse), besides the Muslims do not look at others as innocent. So this is intentionally portioned out to make the religion of Islam look like it is for justice when it is accusing Israel "“ for the next verse states "The punishment of those who wage war against God and His Apostle"

Even if we were to accept this interpretation, Mohammed contradicted this verse by later saying he has been ordered by God to fight all mankind until they accept me as the prophet.

Sura 17:33 "Nor take life - which God has made sacred - except for just cause."

We must know how they interpret these verses, not what they want us to think they mean. To them fighting the Jihad is just cause for Islam to be the dominant religion.

"And finally, just as America can never tolerate violence by extremists, we must never alter or forget our principles. ‚   Nine-eleven was an enormous trauma to our country. ‚   The fear and anger that it provoked was understandable, but in some cases, it led us to act contrary to our traditions and our ideals. ‚   We are taking concrete actions to change course. ‚   I have unequivocally prohibited the use of torture by the United States, and I have ordered the prison at Guantanamo Bay closed by early next year. ‚   (Applause.)

So America will defend itself, respectful of the sovereignty of nations and the rule of law. ‚   And we will do so in partnership with Muslim communities which are also threatened. ‚   The sooner the extremists are isolated and

unwelcome in Muslim communities, the sooner we will all be safer."How exactly did we act contrary to our ideals? Iraq was not a war of choice. Saddam was fully non compliant with the UN sanctions. He made it necessary for us to go in, and we did not go in alone, it was approved with other nations support. He forgot to mention the sacrifice we have done- freeing Iraq from the tyrannical rule of an Islamic dictator who in 1991 was sending missiles over in Israel like flowers on mothers day. What of all our valiant men that died to set the Muslim people free.

What is considered torture -- Water boarding, which was limited to only 3 men out of thousands, men who knew about future attacks. This has nothing to do with the Guantanamo prison. When the Weegers (Islamic terrorists from china) were released from Guantanamo they said it was far better than living in China where they are from.

Torture it is already illegal and should not be related to Guantanamo in the same sentence. What about the torture of a far greater magnitude that daily occurs by Islam to victims that are not terrorists. Muslims chop off the heads of those who are reporters and torture those who are not soldiers. And what of the Muslim genocide and ethnic cleansing in Darfur, how about

addressing the plight of Christians who convert from Islam and are killed.Isolating the extremists is not the answer because they will always produce more until these people are educated to have a different view of the world. That means a religious change must occur for over a billion people.

"America's strong bonds with Israel are well known. ‚   This bond is unbreakable. ‚   It is based upon cultural and historical ties, and the recognition that the aspiration for a Jewish homeland is rooted in a tragic history that cannot be denied.

Around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust. ‚   Tomorrow, I will visit Buchenwald, which was part of a network of camps where Jews were enslaved, tortured, shot and gassed to death by the Third Reich. ‚   Six million Jews were killed -- more than the entire Jewish population of Israel today. ‚   Denying that fact is baseless, it is ignorant, and it is hateful. ‚   Threatening Israel with destruction -- or repeating vile stereotypes about Jews -- is deeply wrong, and only serves to evoke in the minds of Israelis this most painful of memories while preventing the peace that the people of this region deserve."

On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people -- Muslims and Christians -- have suffered in pursuit of a homeland. ‚   For more than 60 years they've endured the pain of dislocation. ‚   Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never been able to lead. ‚   They endure the daily humiliations -- large and small -- that come with occupation. ‚   So let there be no doubt: ‚   The situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. ‚   And America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own." (Applause.)

Israels homeland was not born out of the holocaust but given back to them as a result of the Holocaust. God gave Israel this land long before the word Palestinian was ever invented or used as a political pawn, before any Muslim was following Mohammed there was Israel.

Obama comes off as a freind of Israel but this is hardly the case in what he is proposing to do.

It is the Arab states that have used the Palestinians for their cause of hating Israel.

Poll on what Israel thinks-

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1245184872947&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

There is no moral equivance to Jews being killed by Nazi torture in a Holocaust and the Palestinians conflict with Israel over the years. It is Israel being threatened today. Israel is not treating those in the Gaza like Hitler treated the Jews. To equate this Palestinian travesty (that they have made and continue upon themselves) is clearly misrepresenting the actual horror that happened to the Jews. It diminishes what actually took place and is inciting a justification of hatred for Israel, as there was for Hitler. There is no moral equivalence here. This is using the Hegalian dialectic in a divide and conquer mode.

Are Palestinian Christians actually asking for a homeland? They would know what the Bible says and would be for Israel, not dividing the land. Islam does not believe this but Christians do. The Palestinian refugee problem, cannot be blamed on the creation of the Jewish state. It is the result of the Arab states declaring war on Israel and then keeping the Palestinians as political pawns to further their cause against Israel. This war and strategy has been planned for years and it is now unfolding. "Peace for us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all-out war, a war which will last for generations" (Yasser Arafat (El Mundo, Caracas, Venezuela, Feb. 11, 1980).The problem is the Palestinian position that will not recognize Israel despite her history. Ahmed Qurei, the Palestinian Authority official leading all peace talks with the Jewish state, made the controversial statements in a small media briefing Nov.6 .2008 -The Jewish Temples never existed and Israel has been working to "invent" a Jewish historical connection to Jerusalem, the chief Palestinian negotiator asserted. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=80382

Tom Brokaw in his recent interview asked this question to President Obama after his visit to the Nazi concentration camp at Buchenwald: "What can the Israelis learn from your visit to Buchenwald and what should they be thinking about their treatment of Palestinians?"

Obama responded: "Well, look, there's no equivalency here." How is it when he speaks to Muslims there is and to America there isn’t?

"For decades then, there has been a stalemate: ‚   two peoples with legitimate aspirations, each with a painful history that makes compromise elusive. ‚   It's easy to point fingers -- for Palestinians to point to the displacement brought about by Israel's founding, and for Israelis to point to the constant hostility and attacks throughout its history from within its borders as well as beyond. ‚   But if we see this conflict only from one side or the other, then we will be blind to the truth: The only resolution is for the aspirations of both sides to be met through two states, where Israelis and Palestinians each live in peace and security. ‚   (Applause.)

That is in Israel's interest, Palestine's interest, America's interest, and the world's interest. ‚   And that is why I intend to personally pursue this outcome with all the patience and dedication that the task requires. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   The obligations -- the obligations that the parties have agreed to under the road map are clear. ‚   For peace to come, it is time for them -- and all of us -- to live up to our responsibilities.Palestinians must abandon violence. ‚   Resistance through violence and killing is wrong and it does not succeed.

For centuries, black people in America suffered the lash of the whip as slaves and the humiliation of segregation. ‚   But it was not violence that won full and equal rights. ‚   It was a peaceful and determined insistence upon the ideals at the center of America's founding..".

Now is the time for Palestinians to focus on what they can build. ‚   The Palestinian Authority must develop its capacity to govern, with institutions that serve the needs of its people. Hamas does have support among some Palestinians, but they also have to recognize they have responsibilities. ‚   To play a role in fulfilling Palestinian aspirations, to unify the Palestinian people, Hamas must put an end to violence, recognize past agreements, recognize Israel's right to exist.

At the same time, Israelis must acknowledge that just as Israel's right to exist cannot be denied, neither can Palestine's. ‚   The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   This construction violates previous agreements and undermines efforts to achieve peace. ‚   It is time for these settlements to stop. " (Applause.)

Its good that he has said for the Palestinians to stop the violence but they are not resisting, they are the aggressors. There was no displacement because of Israel, this is a false argument that has been circulating and used to make Israel look like occupiers of their land.

The president of America has now reversed the administrations policy reinforcing the Arabs view, this can only create a climate of hostility against Israel by siding with the Palestinians who have been proven wrong again and again. The wars were invasions of the Arab states against Israel and they lost their land from it. Since when do we twist a countries arm to give up land they won in war of a failed invasion?

If the Arabs won would we be saying to give Israel back her land, I think not.Obama’s statement is the strongest statement the US Government has ever taken toward Israel. To tell Israel they cannot build on their own land simply erases what he said about imposing our views on others. He told the G-20 summit --Above all, there will be no more "dictating" to other countries. We should "forge partnerships as opposed to simply dictating solutions." It appears this applies to everyone but to Israel.

We need to understand not just the political but spiritual implications of this policy. There is over thousands of years of Jewish living in this land, since 1400 B.C. The propaganda from the Arabs is that the two temples never existed there is no Jewish history in the land of Israel. After the Roman destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. many Jews continued to live in Jerusalem and have outnumbered Muslim Arabs.

Let’s bring some clarity to what is being said here. Hamas, which means "zeal" in Arabic and is also the acronym for "Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya" or Islamic Resistance Movement, had its beginnings in 1967 as a wing of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. (The Hebrew word chamas means violence, which is a perfect fit).

Hamas published its official charter in 1988 calling for the creation of an Islamic Waqf in Palestine and the destruction of Israel. Article 8, "¦ the slogan of the Islamic Resistance Movement "“ Hamas who is now in charge of the Palestinians: Article 28 targets all Jews: "Israel, Judaism and Jews challenge Islam and the Muslim people: "˜May the cowards never sleep.’" The Charter in its preface quotes Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, as saying: "Israel will exist and continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it."-

http://www.letusreason.org/Islam21.htm

We already have an example of their peace in the Middle-east region- Israel. Every time they give away land for peace they receive Islamic love in the form of rockets and suicide bombers. Israel is constantly exercising restraint. The President is forcing Israel to continue to make concessions in Judea and Samaria and expect a different result.

When Israel pulled out of Gaza, Hamas took over and did not improve their relations, it brought more war. If Israel does what our administration wants them to, withdraw from Judea and Samaria we can expect a continued escalation.Hamas’ statement by Yasser Ghalban (June 22, 2006 pronouncement), a Hamas terrorist leader makes clear how, as with Hizbollah, the liquidation of Jews in Israel by jihad is linked to Hamas’ own universal ambitions: "The Jihad for Allah... is the way of Truth and the way for Salvation and the way which will lead us to crush the Jews and expel them from our country Palestine. Just as the Jews ran from Gaza, the Americans will run from Iraq and Afghanistan and the Russians will run from Chechnya, and the Indian will run from Kashmir" (Apocalyptic Muslim Jew Hatred FrontPageMagazine.com July 18, 2006 By Andrew G. Bostom)

How can there be trust when thousands parade in Gaza with signs saying "We worship Allah by killing Jews" death to Israel.
"And Israel must also live up to its obligation to ensure that Palestinians can live and work and develop their society. ‚   Just as it devastates Palestinian families, the continuing humanitarian crisis in Gaza does not serve Israel's security; neither does the continuing lack of opportunity in the West Bank. Progress in the daily lives of the Palestinian people must be a critical part of a road to peace, and Israel must take concrete steps to enable such progress.

And finally, the Arab states must recognize that the Arab Peace Initiative was an important beginning, but not the end of their responsibilities. ‚   The Arab-Israeli conflict should no longer be used to distract the people of Arab nations from other problems. Instead, it must be a cause for action to help the Palestinian people develop the institutions that will sustain their state, to recognize Israel's legitimacy, and to choose progress over a self-defeating focus on the past.

America will align our policies with those who pursue peace, and we will say in public what we say in private to Israelis and Palestinians and Arabs. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   We cannot impose peace. ‚   But privately, many Muslims recognize that Israel will not go away. ‚   Likewise, many Israelis recognize the need for a Palestinian state. ‚   It is time for us to act on what everyone knows to be true."

Israel is a narrow sliver of land among the Islamic empire. It is only 9 miles wide at its narrowest point yet Israel has not rejected a Palestinian state, the Palestinians have. They have rejected Israel’s compromise over and over. Israel has compromised greatly for peace. Clinton gave 95% of what Arafat asked and he still rejected the proposal made. December 2008 Olmert offered even more and Abbas rejected his offer. Why? Because they do not want Israel in their region. They only have themselves and their leaders to blame. They want it all and because of this their people continue to suffer.

"Too many tears have been shed. ‚   Too much blood has been shed. ‚   All of us have a responsibility to work for the day when the mothers of Israelis and Palestinians can see their children grow up without fear; when the Holy Land of the three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra -- (applause) -- as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, peace be upon them, joined in prayer. ‚   (Applause.)

Why is it that Saudi Arabia, the home of Islam can be a country strictly of Islam without Jews and Christians, but Israel, a country that God gave to the Jews is supposed to be open for Islam, divided and dictated by our foreign policy?

This vision of peace and ecumenical unity is the spirit of the age and is actually unapproved of God, but will be approved by the false Messiah in the tribulation.

"˜peace be upon them" as Muslims say is offensive to Jews and Christians who deny Mohammed as a prophet equal to Moses or Jesus.

the story of Isra is of importance to understand the message that obama is sending.

Found in chapter 17 of the Qu’ran and in the Hadith. The angel Gabriel brought Mohammed from the Kaaba in Mecca by a winged steed named "Buraq" (a beast resembling a white horse with two huge wings, hmm), to the "furthest mosque" from Mecca; the Qu’ran doesn’t state the location, Muslims of course say it is Jerusalem even though it is not mentioned once in the Qu’ran. He also leads Moses and Jesus in prayer. Muslims see Mohammad, Jesus and Moses praying because to them all three are Muslim. Of course there are other stories like this about when Jesus’ returns he destroys the churches and leads people in muslim prayers.By telling this story to a Muslim audience

Obama is reinforcing the Muslims claim to Jerusalem is legit, their prophet is true. But this is not a holy land of three faiths but of one- Judaism. Christianity is the fulfillment of Judaism, with the Jewish Messiah. It has a direct connection to the Faith started by God in Abraham, Islam does not. In fact Islam says Abraham was a Muslim. God intended Jerusalem to be a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims! Not according toMohammed who said, "The last hour will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews, and the Muslims kill them." (Mishkat Al Masabih Sh.M. Ashraf pp.147, 721, 810-11, 1130)

In the Hadith Abu Hurayah reported the messenger of Allah as saying: The last hour will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, so that Jews will hide behind stones and trees and the Stone and the tree will say, O Muslim, O servant of God! There is a Jew behind me; come and kill him. The only exception will be the box-thorn for it is one of the trees of the Jews. (Sahih of Muslim, quoted by Israel and the Prophecies of Al Quran by Ali Akbar, Bismi Publishers 1992, p.44)

These horrendous statements cannot be ignored.

"Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. ‚   We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition. ‚   I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. ‚   That is the spirit we need today. ‚   People in every country should be free to choose and live their faith based upon the persuasion of the mind and the heart and the soul. ‚   This tolerance is essential for religion to thrive, but it's being challenged in many different ways.

"Among some Muslims, there's a disturbing tendency to measure one's own faith by the rejection of somebody else's faith. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld -- whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   And if we are being honest, fault lines must be closed among Muslims, as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq."

Mohammed said of himself: ‚  "I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, none has the right to be worshipped but Allah" (Al Bukhari vol. 4:196) Does this sound like tolerance? Who ordered Mohammed? Allah of course. The only time they are tolerant is when they are not the stronger of the two parties and have to wait. The Qu’ran are filled with quotes like Sura 9:5 "kill those who join other gods with God wherever ye shall find them; and seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush" They cannot change their own "holy book" so how can this be resolved?

"Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. ‚   We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. ‚   For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. ‚   That's why I'm committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit -- for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. ‚   We can't disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism.

In fact, faith should bring us together. ‚   And that's why we're forging service projects in America to bring together Christians, Muslims, and Jews. ‚   That's why we welcome efforts like Saudi Arabian King Abdullah's interfaith dialogue and Turkey's leadership in the Alliance of Civilizations. ‚   Around the world, we can turn dialogue into interfaith service, so bridges between peoples lead to action -- whether it is combating malaria in Africa, or providing relief after a natural disaster.

The sixth issue -- the sixth issue that I want to address is women's rights. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   I know "“- I know -- and you can tell from this audience, that there is a healthy debate about this issue. ‚   I reject the view of some in the West that a woman who chooses to cover her hair is somehow less equal, but I do believe that a woman who is denied an education is denied equality. (Applause.) ‚   And it is no coincidence that countries where women are well educated are far more likely to be prosperous.

Now, let me be clear: ‚   Issues of women's equality are by no means simply an issue for Islam. ‚   In Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, we've seen Muslim-majority countries elect a woman to lead. ‚   Meanwhile, the struggle for women's equality continues in many aspects of American life, and in countries around the world.

I am convinced that our daughters can contribute just as much to society as our sons. ‚   (Applause.) ‚   Our common prosperity will be advanced by allowing all humanity -- men and women -- to reach their full potential. ‚   I do not believe that women must make the same choices as men in order to be equal, and I respect those women who choose to live their lives in traditional roles. But it should be their choice. ‚   And that is why the United States will partner with any Muslim-majority country to support expanded literacy for girls, and to help young women pursue employment through micro-financing that helps people live their dreams." ‚   (Applause.)

It was made difficult because some mosques were found to contribute to terrorist organizations and we needed regulation, he now wanst to soften our policy they can now have no restrictions on what was illegal.

Obama finds ownership with Islam by saying "our daughters", "our sons". A freudian slip? This is concerning.

Interfaith cooperation is not the answer for those who are true to their faith. We can have tolerance for a religion without participating with them, they cannot.

I will certainly agree with his asertive statements on women, however we saw what happened to Benazir Bhutto who ran for president in Pakistan, she was assassinated. No I do see the same struggle in other countries. Isabel Peron of Argentina was the world's first woman president in 1974. Golda Meir was prime minister of Israel "“ 1969. Megawati Sukarnoputri, president of Indonesia "“ 2001. Sirimavo Bandaranaike is first elected woman prime minister of the democratic socialist republic of Sri Lanka. But there is no comparison to the denial of womens rights in the Muslim countries. Insinuating that America struggles with equality of women like Islam has no comparison. Women’s rights in Islam have and still are oppressive.

He ends with-

"We have the power to make the world we seek, but only if we have the courage to make a new beginning, keeping in mind what has been written.

The Holy Koran tells us: ‚   "O mankind! ‚   We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another."

The Talmud tells us: ‚   "The whole of the Torah is for the purpose of promoting peace." The Holy Bible tells us: ‚   "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." ‚   (Applause.) The people of the world can live together in peace. ‚   We know that is God's vision. Now that must be our work here on Earth. Thank you. ‚   And may God's peace be upon you. ‚   Thank you very much. ‚   Thank you

. ‚   (Applause.)This is not what is meant in the Bible by peacemakers, it would be those who bring the gospel of peace, which Islam wholeheartedly rejects and does not allow in their countries. There is no peace except by the one who died on the cross. Obama wants all religions to be as one- e puribus unum. Which happens to be predicted in the Bible, and is not a good thing.

This speech is like singing John Lennons song: "all we are saying- is give peace a chance" Consider the spiritual implications of what is being spoken from Egypt. This is not offering an olive branch but a whole olive tree to Islam.

The purpose of his speech was to turn a new page in US relations to Muslims- the question is whether it was turned forward or backward. As Rich Lowry editor at National Review concluded: "Fundamentally, Obama's goal was to tell the Muslim world, 'We respect and value you, your religion and your civilization, and only ask that you don't hate us and murder us in return.'"

The outcome: The American (government) media may be waiting to see the affect of his speech in Cairo but with Ahmedinejab announced the winner of the stacked elections in Iran it sends a strong message of rejection.

Iran is controlled by Shia Mullahs who put in their own president despite the elections. Ahmedinejad is determined to acquire nuclear. Many Muslim states are concerned about this, as are the youth in Iran. Maybe this is what our president should be talking about instead of giving them respect and showing no resistance to their pursuit for destruction of Israel. To say his foreign policy is weak would be an understatement. Iran is listed as a terrorist sponsoring country for 30 years, yet he is unable to speak up and encourage change unless he is forced to. Why does he take a stronger stand with N. Korea and not Iran? One word- Islam, he is an Islam friendly president. Now he has reversed his statement on what is taking place in Iran. What is ironic is that America is being taken down the same road they want to be free of. It can mean a revolution in Iran or they can be crushed by their military. We have yet to see how this will turn out from all the protests.

Heres the fruit from what Obama spoke

Under the past administration, there was a feeling that the Islamic world was a group of terrorists, Islam was hated and Muslims should be watched, and that the previous administration was scared of any Muslim," Mubarak said.

"But Obama came and said we will not fight Muslims and Islam. He is a sympathetic man, and says the United States will not fight Islam because Islam is a heavenly religion," he told state television" (Reuters June11,09 Egypt's Mubarak says Obama has new approach to Islam)

Why is Obama giving respect to those that do not deserve it? President Obama is the Neville Chamberlain of our day and he will eventually reap the same results. Consider the words of Churchill who came to Englands rescue after Chamberlain’s tremendous blunder, what was his opinion on Islam. "No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome."
(Winston Churchill, The River War, 1st edition, Vol. 2, pp. 248-250 (London, Green &Co, 1899).

These words may yet come to haunt us.

So where is this all headed? Get your prayer rug while they are cheap and a compass, to know which way Mecca is.

The president of America speaking to a Muslim audience makes an appeal to their history of tolerance, a people that calls Jews and the nation of Israel; monkeys and pigs! ‚   Using Sura 2:65; 5:60 its bad enough that it is applied to those who broke the Sabbath but the Mullahs apply it to all Jewish people .

http://www.memri.org/bin/articles.cgi?Area=sr&ID=SR01102

A call for their destruction and America is found in the Muslim media, taught in far too many Islamic schools and mosques. Can a speech from an American president change all of this? Can it change any of it? Especially one like he spoke. Even if it changed a few individuals, they would have to be important ones to lead a reformation of ideas to the Muslim people. The only thing that has power to change their minds is Jesus Christ, not the prophet Jesus that they admire but the savior Jesus-the Jewish Messiah. I want to end on a hopeful note, there are thousands of Muslims coming to recognize Jesus as Lord and making invigorating efforts to reach their people. Our part is to pray that God gives them strength.
